Packed with talent and destined for Broadway, Myrt's touring vaudeville revue has run dry of money. With ulterior motives toward dazzling young star Marge Minter, smooth-talking backer Mr. Jackson agrees to bankroll the show. Backstage, stagehand Mullins and his bumbling crew chase a spot in the spotlight, while Myrt and leading man Eddie Hanley grow wary of Jackson's intentions.
