Hanging by a Wire | Full Movie | Movies Anywhere

This is a story of rescue, not to be teased with the possibility of it ending in tragedy but with a celebration of its improbable success amidst logical issues and setbacks and socio-political dissidence. As such, it’s almost on par with The Rescue.

That cable car is also an important reminder that heroic moments often come from the unlikeliest places.

Credit is due to director Mohammed Ali Naqvi for pulling it all together adeptly, as well as to the seamless editing by William Grayburn that nourishes the suspense and draws out some of the surprising moments of comedy.

Naqvi bedrocks his doc with a sense of social injustice but ultimately chooses thrills over explicit social commentary. The ticking-clock tension will leave you breathless.
