While Evil Dead Burn is visceral and gets the gonzo gore perfectly, it will appeal only to those who like splatter horror. Those who get squeamish at the sight of innards and flesh are better off skipping this one.

This outing in the Evil Dead series easily lands in my top three of the six movies.

Evil Dead Burn is an immensely enjoyable horror ride and a worthy new entry in one of horror’s most beloved franchises. It’s relentless, it’s blood-soaked, and it had me locked in from the first frame to the last.

The Evil Dead franchise has unequivocally, and perhaps inescapably, slipped into full throttle demon torture porn with this sixth entry focusing on another group of Anglos who seem quite senseless in their frustrating lack of rational thought...

Vaniček directs the heck out of the film, which is arguably the meanest Evil Dead film of the franchise. Some of the family dynamics are undercooked, though, and Deadite grandma doesn't get enough to do. Luciane Buchanan is the MVP
