Frank Sinatra and Peter Lawford star as a couple of mismatched pals vying for the love of one woman in a singing, dancing, romantic comedy of errors when It Happened in Brooklyn. When former GI Webson Miller (Sinatra) takes a sentimental journey back to his old neighborhood in Brooklyn, he meets shy uptowner Jamie Shelgrove and decides to help him by turning him into an honorary "Son of Flatbush." But problems arise when both men fall for schoolteacher Anne Fielding (Kathryn Grayson).
