The Stone Boy is a beautiful and tragic film centering around a twelve year-old boy, Arnold, who lives on a farm in Montana with his brother, Eugene, sister, Nora, and parents, Joe and Ruth. A freak hunting accident results in Arnold taking Eugene's life. The fractured family must now deal with their grief and their lingering resentment towards Arnold. Arnold is unable to handle the unspoken disappointment, so he moves in with his more forgiving grandfather.
