I won’t ruin the Chuck Norris “fact” used in the film, but it provides one of the few genuine laughs, and it’s certainly better than the forced wisecracks from Stallone, Willis, and Schwarzenegger.

Think of it as a B-movie triple feature edited into a single movie, all firepower and mayhem with nostalgia and tough-guy quips stirred through.

Van Damme's villain, silly as his character may be, makes this movie more watchable than it has any right to be.
