Following the black site attack in Poland, Navy SEAL Jake Harris (Scott Adkins) must use all his battle-honed skills to survive an airport siege from mercenaries attempting to capture high-profile terrorist suspect Amin Mansur. While the single shot gimmick compromises the quality in places, it also gives the film a relentless sense of urgency. If you're an action fan that can forgive clunky dialogue and some weak performances, this movie provides a unique viewing experience.

Adkins throws himself into proceedings with the same admirable commitment as ever, but even one shot feels like one too many this time around.

One More Shot is a perfect place to dip one’s toes into a wild, energetic sub-genre.

Anyone who maintains a straight face while insisting this is an improvement on the "Die Hard 2" conceit is at best jockeying for online attention and, at worst, illustrating supreme ignorance of meathead action-movie culture. One take, zero excitement.

Perhaps one doesn’t come to this style of entertainment for the drama, and “One More Shot” certainly delivers when it comes to bone-breaking, blood-spattering events.
