Arnold Schwarzenegger stars in this hard-hitting action film as Col. John Matrix, the former leader of an elite commando strike force. When his young daughter (Alyssa Milano) is kidnapped, Matrix has only a few hours to find his daughter before she's killed. As an action film, it decently collects a handful of clichés for Schwarzenegger to do his thing by arming himself with machine guns and one-liners, but somehow the adrenaline decreases with each body count. [Full review in Spanish]

Commando is full of action but is conflict-free.

The finale is quite notable, as it boasts an enormous body count and countless expended ammunition; this too is almost hilarious thanks to the chaotic extravagance.

Commando was Arnold's baby, his vehicle for bringing his unique brand of action-insanity to willing masses.
