“This is the way the world ends. Not with a bang but a whimper”. [...] I don’t think you’ll find a sentence that more perfectly encapsulates Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths Part Three and the trilogy as a whole.

Though ambitious and somewhat heartfelt, this convoluted, dull conclusion to the Tomorrowverse proves inaccessible to all but DC’s most diehard animation fans.

Despite the unprecedented amount of time to tell a largely comic book accurate story, Krieg wanted to tell more of an original tale from a universe that’s barely had time to develop a following.

Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part Three can’t escape the general lifelessness of the Tomorrowverse.
