... the film presents the longest sustained fight sequence in the animated DCU, which directors Jake Castorena and Sam Liu make interesting with dramatic imagery and inventive twists.

While The Death of Superman may not be a perfect film, it is a thoroughly entertaining addition to the DC Animated Movie Universe that not only pushes it in bold directions, but sets up a direct sequel adapting the equally iconic follow-up storyline

The Death of Superman gives fans what they want. A strong Superman story, a great adaption of an iconic comic, awesome DC cameos and and homages to the works of the past. A worthwhile entry into the DC Animated Film collection.

Intense animated adventure filled with brutality, deaths.

One of the best animated Superman films so far. Really looking forward to Part 2. [Full review in Spanish]
