Ahhhh, to be young…and charged with saving the world from impending doom! That’s the burden that 11-year-old Jonathan Kent and reluctant young sidekick Damian Wayne face in this all-new DC Animated Movie. It's entertaining — a funny, coming-of-age story, and it just touches the heart strings. Really, it has everything you would want in a family film.

DC Animation knocks it out of the park once again...

Batman and Superman: Battle of the Super Sons is a good time all around. Its pacing is a bit stilted, but the interactions between the characters and the exciting action make up for it.

Not only will Batman and Superman fans enjoy this, but so will any member of the mainstream audience as Super Sons is accessible and relatable to anyone who remembers growing up and trying to live up to their parents’ hopes.

It’s only 79 minutes long and the story is so simple that it’s impossible to spoil. And the film remembers, crucially, that comics are fun. Or they should be.
