GOLD is the epic tale of one man's pursuit of the American dream, to discover gold. Starring Oscar winner Matthew McConaughey as Kenny Wells, a prospector desperate for a lucky break, he teams up with a similarly eager geologist and sets off on an amazing journey to find gold in the uncharted jungle of Indonesia. Technically well-made, but suffering on the artistic side for the lack of connection with the characters at an individual level. [Full Review in Spanish]

It's hard to take this film seriously when it depicts so much violence, but chooses to censor it in a way which that is detrimental to its impact, especially when it's willing to show a rape scene, but not someone being shot with an arrow.
