Kitty Carroll is a model who becomes the subject of Professor Gibbs' scientific experiments with transparency. While he tinkers with the device, gangsters plot to steal the machine when they realize that invisibility could be a highly profitable business. Meanwhile, the beautiful but occasionally invisible Kitty sets out to even the score with a former employer that did her wrong.
