As a wise-cracking sky-diving instructor, Charlie Sheen wears his usual look of someone who has just been asked a really difficult question (like: how come your career has lasted this long?).

A brisk, sleek wrong-man story that's easily the better of 1994's dueling skydiver movies and, had a darker Charlie Sheen from another universe not swapped places with our own, might have made the actor Kurt Russell's action-movie heir apparent.

Some of the comic writing undercuts the preposterous story.
