In his cinematic debut, Evel Knievel (playing himself) stars in this edge-of-your-seat picaresque tale about a daredevil motorcyclist who is being sabotaged by a band of drug-dealing gangsters who want to have him murdered before he can complete his jump in Mexico. The crooks plan to murder Knievel so they can use his coffin to smuggle a large amount of cocaine back to the States without any problems, but unfortunately for them, Evel was never a man go down without a fight.

Its as moth-eaten a movie as youll ever see, with only the messianic egomania of its star to differentiate it from a thousand other duds.

A mountain of self-love, revealing stunt biker Knievel as a saintly combination of Batman and Billy Graham.

Evel the actor emerges from the wreck in better shape than the bent careers of his veteran co-stars, Gene Kelly, Marjoe Gortner, Red Buttons, Lauren Hutton and Leslie Nielsen.
