A family’s idyllic life abroad turns to tragedy, then horror, in this terrifying film from the studio that brought you The Hills Have Eyes. Bound to be forgotten by those who can get through its 96-minute runtime without walking out of the theater or shutting it off at home.

...this British-Indian co-production is full of thresholds and liminal spaces...

With less than a 100-minute long run-time... a nonsensical premise, shoddy execution on practically every level and absolutely no scares whatsoever, The Other Side Of The Door is best avoided at all costs.

If you want to be scared out of your mind, I suggest you choose a different film - Paranormal Activity perhaps. The other side of the door was an idea that had some potential, but it definitely doesn't live up to it.

The filmmakers even try to conjure up some CGI monsters for Maria to hallucinate, except they look so stupid and forgettable it's safe to assume that the designs were stolen from a trash bin at the studio for a Silent Hill game
