So, despite occasionally mustering some intrigue, Cry Wolf remains a howling disappointment.

It attempts to be taken as a slasher film but it's not a slasher whatsoever, it's a gigantic tease.

Cry Wolf is certainly an impressive calling card for its co-writer/director Jeff Wadlow, even if ultimately it is too derivative to qualify as something to howl about.
