In the brutal no-man's-land that runs the border between the United States and Mexico, a traffic in human cargo thrives ... often at the cost of the lives of the desperate people coming north to find work. When three people are found murdered at the border, law enforcement officers from the United States and Mexico collaborate to hunt down the killers in what amounts to a human slave trade. Going undercover, Pablo Rodriguez (Ricardo Montalban) soon finds himself in a fight for survival with a shipment of migrant workers abandoned in the desert.
