It's better than New Moon (because something actually happens), but both Jacob and Edward are insufferable and Bella's decision to become a vampire remains irrational. Janky FX, not enough Dallas Howard and bad wigs sink the ship. Slade is on autopilot

This melodrama of monsters doubles as a metaphor for the characters’ sometimes supernatural ability to control their sexual desires. The rest of the plot is just filler.
