The Silencing | Full Movie | Movies Anywhere

It's desperately dull and predictable - down to the boring reveal at the end. It does moody and atmospheric well, but that will only take you so far. Ultimately, it's too muted for its own good.

The Silencing is one of those serial killer sagas that's not so much about what it is telling you, but how it is telling you. And that's where it makes quite a killing.

Lacks logic.

The murder mystery is underwhelming, full of awkward misdirection and characters making idiotic decisions for the sake of plot expediency.

There was something Karin Slaughter-ish about this film. That alone was enough to hold my interest.
