...despite the impressive gore, this just isn't a scary movie. It's a slow one that turns plodding after too long. It plays like someone tried to make It Follows and then stuffed it with millennial horror tropes.

The cliché-stuffed remake has zero new ideas to scare us with.

Not often that you're hit with a film so lost in its madness yet so dull to watch. The best type of bad movies are fun ones to watch, and this is not that.

A nasty piece of work that would have been a lot better if it didn't feel so hacked to bits.

The issue with this film is it's all over the place... I just don't know why they made it so complicated unless they were gonna tie something else in.
