After Apache chief Cochise dies, his oldest son Taza works to maintain the peace. Meanwhile, his brother Naiche pushes for war and tries to win over Oona, who loves Taza. A hostile cavalry officer forces the Chiricahua Apache onto a reservation, where the arrival of the renegade warrior Geronimo threatens new conflict.
