When the local railroad becomes a constant target of Whitely Harbin and his gang, train officials recruit their former hired gun, Grant McLaine, to guard the payroll against further robberies. Trouble is, Harbin's most skilled and lethal gunslinger, the Utica Kid, is Grant's kid brother. As the train comes under attack from Harbin's bandits, Grant hopes for the best but prepares for the worst.
