A bonafide cult classic--and a savage social satire--about government and the clergy using a pop megastar to manipulate the masses.

The blending of church and state to benefit the good theme might have been viewed as science fiction in a western country in '67, but the Trump years show just how eerily prescient "Privilege" actually was in its totalitarian visions.

Fiery, impassioned, imperfect, iPrivilege/i may occasionally exasperate, but it never postures.

Maybe more relevant than ever, Peter Watkinss acidic piss take on culture under corporate control gets a solid HD transfer and a welcome commentary track for supplement.
