On a flight from New York to Paris, ladies’ man Antoine (Nicolas Bedos of Populaire) finds himself seated next to artist Julie (Ludivine Sagnier of Swimming Pool and The Devil’s Double) – the hotheaded ex with whom he had a nasty breakup three years ago. It's not so much that Love is in the Air is a terrible film, it's just terribly familiar and has the audacity to be every bit as predictable as you can surmise it will be from its opening frames.

Caught as it is between mocking romance clichés and investing in them, the film is too up in the air to succeed on either front, as love story or sendup.

There's a charm to this title, in spite of the fact it's an immensely cliched, predictable romance flick that is heavily flawed to say the least.
