Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Deborah Kerr star in this swinging romantic comedy about two friends who inadvertently share the same wife when a longtime couple realizes they have a Marriage on the Rocks. Nineteen years ago, Valerie Edwards (Kerr) rejected Ernie Brewer's (Martin) proposal and married Dan Edwards (Sinatra). Now, Ernie has a adjusted to a carefree bachelor's life; Dan spends too much time at the office; and Valerie is consulting a divorce lawyer. When Dan and Valerie decide to spend a second honeymoon in a Mexican seaside resort to give their marriage one more chance, they unwittingly divorce when they misunderstand a Mexican attorney. Then Valerie and Ernie unwittingly wed when they misunderstand a Mexican justice of the peace.
