An enjoyable, informative and ultimately moving documentary that should appeal to fans and newcomers alike.

Overall I Am Ali is a great film about a very influential person that inspired a lot of people all across the globe. I Am Ali is something that should be seen and shown to as many people as possible who don't know Muhammad Ali.

[W]hat sets this documentary apart are the interviews with two of Ali's daughters, Hana and Maryum, as well as son Muhammad Jr. and one of his ex-wives, and the inclusion of excerpts of audio tapes made by Ali himself over the years.

Retracing Muhammad Ali's vibrant life is an opportunity for audiences to reexamine American history, race relations, the civil rights movement, the antiwar movement and the sports world through the eyes of a perceptive black man.

Well-trodden territory, but come on, it's Ali- you probably couldn't make a boring doc about him if you tried.
