If only "restrained" was a word I could apply thicker across the skin of this wild, unwieldy beast of a movie

There's a taut pin-drop route that always seems to keep you hooked. The unpredictable nature of the film helps to steer you around unsuspecting, darkened corners that will have you peering between your fingers.

At under an hour-and-a-half, it's a brilliantly trim and genuinely riveting horror/thriller.

... what viewers accept as tolerable from one character or another is both curated and wielded with anime-like precision, tempting viewers to pick a side before gleefully twisting the knife and the plot again.

It's one of those films that has such good tension... the creepiness factor in this film is quiet full-on.
