When army commando Amrit (Lakshya) finds out his true love Tulika (Tanya Maniktala) is engaged against her will, he boards a New Delhi-bound train in a daring quest to derail the arranged marriage. But when a gang of knife-wielding thieves led by the ruthless Fani (Raghav Juyal) begin to terrorize innocent passengers on his train, Amrit takes them on himself in a death-defying kill-spree to save those around him - turning what should have been a typical commute into an adrenaline-fueled thrill ride.

Kill is pure entertainment. A steadily escalating descent into violence in which every fight and every death is emotionally justified, keeping you glued to the edge of your seat, shouting at the screen.

Although 'Kill' aims, and succeeds, to be a crowd-pleasing action film in many regards, Bhat gives time and space on some of the more uncomfortable notions surrounding our spectatorship of our ostensible hero becoming an extreme killing machine.

Gorehounds will certainly be happy with the amount of blood-letting here – and there are some undeniably creative, downright brutal deaths that save the kills from being too repetitive... Kill delivers on that title’s promise – and then some.

Bhat relishes in the mayhem, and I guess it’s “playful” enough most of the time to be more entertaining than off-putting.

Brian Vernel, Calum Ross and Daniel Portman do good work embodying the differing character traits of the brothers, but it's flashback scenes of Paul Higgins as the chilling patriarch that strike terror into the proceedings.
