With an overly long runtime of two hours, it failed to hold my interest despite its good intentions and moral, but it should appeal to a religious-oriented audience.

The words may be different in “I Can Only Imagine 2” but the structure has the same uplifting impact as the original. It just took a little faith to imagine that could happen.

I am not the target audience for this, but I think it does what it needs to do for the audience it's serving.

John Michael Finley, star of such Broadway hits as The Book of Mormon and Les Miz, returns as Millard and is particularly moving when the film gives him an opportunity to sing because boy can this dude sing.

The film’s numerous mini sermons might deliver what many viewers are looking for in an inspirational faith-based movie. The characters are also generally likeable.
