Mainly succeeds in being unintentionally hilarious - which oddly adds entertainment value the creators couldn't have planned for.

... long action scenes that cascade into one another-the style that Hong Kong cinema used to be so good at.

More than a decade later, no action series has quite managed to capture its blend of silky smooth action thanks to Statham's turn as the debonair hero for the new generation.

Pure popcorn pleasure for older teens and up.
