Harry Berg (Michael Keaton) is a down-on-his-luck New York artist. Rachel Dobs (Rae Dawn Chong) is a straight-arrow bill collector and would-be detective. While being tracked by Rachel for delinquent alimony payments, Harry stumbles onto a murder and an audacious get-rich-quick scheme-and the squeeze begins. His desire to hit it big and her investigative inclinations lead the unlikely pair to team up, but soon they find themselves in the middle of an outrageous multimillion-dollar scam. A story about "the American dream gone haywire," The Squeeze combines elements of comedy, mystery, adventure and fantasy as it moves at an action-packed clip from Manhattan's downtown underground art scene and after-hours clubs to the high-powered, treacherous world of international big business.

Seriously, strangely and curiously BAD comedy. Keaton's really been through some stinkers, but few as dire as this one.
