Academy Award winner Jimmy Stewart stars with Janet Leigh in the story of a man driven by desperation by take a job as a bounty hunter--and of the ruthless man he pursues across the unforgiving West in Naked Spur. Howard Kemp (Stewart--It's a Wonderful Life, The Philadelphia Story) lost his ranch and his faithless wife while he was fighting in the United States' Civil War. Now, to earn a new stake, Kemp and two greedy strangers go after the bounty on Ben Vandergroat (Robert Ryan). They meet Lina Patch (Leigh--Psycho), Vandergroat's girlfriend and the only voice of reason and compassion among the five people locked in a violent pursuit across the Colorado Rockies.
