it has virtually no plot

this simian space adventure is one you may want to miss.

Unnecessary sequel isn't really worth kids' time.

The sort of unnecessary sequel that should never even have been made in the first place!

The CGI is beyond ropey (we're talking 1995 computer game levels); the script reads as though it was half-heartedly written during a hangover and every single main character is obnoxious.
