America's favorite family of the future stars in their first animated feature film! When George Jetson (George O'Hanlon) gets a promotion, he moves to outer space with the entire family: Jane, Judy, Elroy, Rosie the Robot and Astro the family dog. But soon the family discovers that George's company is destroying the homes of the Grungies, the friendly underground creatures who live on the same asteroid. With his family's help, George is able to work out a peaceful arrangement that benefits both the ecology and the factory's modern technology. See a 2,000-level shopping mall, anti-gravity basketball and other wonders of the space age in this delightful movie, featuring songs by Tiffany.

Common Sense Says
Great visuals, lackluster characters and plot.
What Parents Need to Know
Parents need to know that this film's characters are firmly rooted in early-1960s stereotypes: Dad goes to work, Mom is a genial housewife, their son plays ball, and their daughter listens to the latest pop music as she searches for the perfect boyfriend. Despite the dated characters, the movie addresses modern themes of tolerance, working together, and environmentalism.
