It’s all very silly and overdone, but they pull it off thanks to the effervescent rapport between Clooney and Pitt, the snappy delivery of the entire cast, and the smooth sheen of Soderberg’s brisk direction.

Ocean's Thirteen adds recognition of the both the city's traditions and new trends. The team takes on Al Pacino, who demolishes Godfather principle by defying omerta and breaking his word of honor.

The whole thing is entirely improbable, but the talented cast members do their best, occasionally providing some amusing moments. As a whole, however, the film is an artistic placeholder.

The plot is absolutely waifer thin, and at no point in any of the films did I feel that the characters were worth caring about, because none of them seem real to me.
