For a movie that hinges on a soulless man developing feelings, Criminal is noticeably lacking any of its own.

Regretfully, Criminal makes up for its lack of ideas with blood, guts and even more blood.

A dull, yet star-studded production that feels like a 1990s action movie throwback - complete with over-the-top villains, ruthless violence, and an absurd premise.

The only thing that is Criminal about this movie, is that they have gotten away with making it.

There's not just a good movie but a great one buried deep within this mess of espionage cliches.
