Olympic Gold Medal gymnast Mitch Gaylord stars as a world-class gymnast who must overcome the disintegration of his family to train for the United States Olympic trials. Steve Tevere (Gaylord) has given up training as a gymnast and is working in his father's bicycle shop--even though he has the talent to go all the way to the Olympics. But when Julie Lloyd (Janet Jones) comes to Steve's gym to train with his hard-driving coach, the relationship that grows between them inspires Steve to compete.
