In the days before the American Revolution, the colonists lived in a narrow strip of land along the eastern coast of North America, a massive, unknown and forbidding continent. But a few of the bravest settlers risked everything in a search for a valuable route across this land--the Northwest Passage. 1754. During the French and Indian War, a daring band led by Major Robert Rogers (Academy Award winner Spencer Tracy) set out across the wild lands in search of the desperately sought route.
