Agatha Christie, the grand dame of the mystery novel, weaves an twisting tale of terror that can only by unraveled by gray-haired intrepid amateur sleuth Miss Marple when the wily Marple confronts Murder at the Gallop. The formidable jowls and unconquerable tweediness of Margaret Rutherford are again employed to impersonate author Agatha Christie's sleuth, Miss Jane Marple, in this good comedy-thriller from Britain.

Enjoyable and competently made standard whodunit in the Miss Marple series.

The story follows the general pattern set forth in the first movie.... The major difference is that this one is a bit more amusing than the first.
