Academy Award winners Robert De Niro and Frances McDormand star in this true story of a man who, as a cop, must bring a criminal to justice--but, as a father, must find a way to save his son. While investigating the murder of a surfer, New York City police detective Vincent LaMarca (De Niro)--whose own father was executed for murder--discovers that his estranged son may have committed the crime. Now LaMarca will put his life on the line to do right by both his family and his profession.
