Days are seared by burning sunlight, nights swallow the world and bring out the demons, and Hell is an Earth burning in the nuclear fires of Armageddon.

For better and worse, it feels more like a middle chapter that throws you into this ambitious world, making you wish you could have spent more time in this world to get your footing and see where this narrative could had led.

A handful of scenes depicting the high temperatures on the devil's home turf are plausibly horrific, but the rest barely registers.

Constantine deserves a cult following and should be remembered for all the things it did right instead of its perceived wrongs.
