The type of genre movie that’s not quite good enough to recommend, but also not amusingly bad enough to be a full-blown cult classic in the making.

There are plenty of Easter eggs in Five Nights at Freddy's 2, but those don't make up for the terrible plotting, characterization, pacing, dialogue, and performances.

Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 is better than its predecessor simply because it’s livelier, but it leaves logic completely behind.

Much of what takes place across the film’s 104 minutes feels telegraphed, a bit cheap and, sadly, resigned for a more 12-year-old mind-frame.
