Condemned gangster Thunderbolt Jim Lang lives by violence. When his girl, Ritzy, vows to go straight and falls for honest bank clerk Bob Morgan, Thunderbolt's rage turns to revenge. From his cell, he cunningly frames Bob, landing him in the facing cell and setting up a deadly confrontation and an unexpected reckoning.
