This dramatization also reveals the real personalities of the original broadcast team--crusty, controversial, opinionated Howard Cosell; former Dallas Cowboys quarterback "Dandy" Don Meredith; and former New York Giants halfback Frank Gifford, who remained with the show the longest (through the 1997 season)--and the men's true feelings for one another.
