In a better time and universe and film industry, the assertion of one creative personality wouldn’t necessarily entail the trampling or effacement of another.

Consider this a call for audiences to revisit Carpenter's least appreciated work, a charming blend of romance and Hitchcockian thrills, featuring incredible special FX, light humor, a mild social commentary, and accomplished filmmaking.

Boasts excellent visual effects but otherwise relates a mediocre story.

This is a misguided romantic comedy entry into the Invisible Man canon so vibrantly born from the mind of H.G. Wells.
