Blown off course by a storm while en route to Baghdad, Sinbad (Kerwin Matthews) and his fiancée, Princess Parisa (Kathryn Grant), land on the mythical island of Colossa where they are sought by the sorcerer Sokurah for help defeating a monstrous Cyclops. The trio escapes with a magic lamp, but Sokurah wants to return for more of the island's hidden treasures and casts a spell that shrinks the princess to the size of a man's thumb to gain Sinbad's help. With no choice but to comply, Sinbad returns with his loyal crew to Colossa where he comes face-to-face with a host of mythic creatures in his struggle to unlock the secret that will return the princess to her real size.
