This is a movie that grabs you by the collar in the first frames and insists you are having a good time -- and never stops telling you that, whether you are or not.

Moana 2 has plenty to keep the audience engaged from start to finish, even if the story has so many repeat moments from the original.

A lot of the magic seems to have swept ashore, though, as while this sequel still wows at times, it left me feeling underwhelmed and a bit empty.
