An odd Odyssey involving a trio of likable scamps.

Above-average amiable road vibes with agreeable casting all around.

The film is low-key, but with a wry and sensitive feeling for contemporary American freakishness.

The plot twists every which way and is easily seduced down secondary roads or by "colourful" characters, but compensations include the southwest scenery and Rafferty's amazingly funky conveyance.
