In contrast to the Disney animation, Garrone presents to us has a more adult and profound look, since, like the literary text, it is aimed at both children and adults, in their entire age range, since it takes up the crudeness of Collodi's text.

It's everything that recent live-action remakes of Disney classics have tried to do without success: a film that respects and follows in the footsteps of the original, but offers its own reasons for existing. [Full review in Portuguese]
